Breast Cancer Fund – Videographer and photographer on several shoots, including a climb of Mount McKinley in Alaska and another of Mount Fuji in Japan. The Mount McKinley video, Climb Against the Odds has many awards and aired nationally on PBS’s “20/20” and ABC’s "Primetime." Olympia Dukakis narrates and background music is by k. d. Lang, Indigo Girls, and Celine Dion. Produced by Steve Michelson, Karen Carlson, and Jeanne Rizzo with the Breast Cancer Fund.
The program has been invaluable in raising awareness and funding for breast cancer research, education, and support. A book and website for Climb Against the Odds, for which I’m a contributing photographer, is now available. Please visit the Breast Cancer Fund website to learn more.
